Friends Against Violence Launches New Website

3/25/07
Friends Against Violence introduces its new web page, intended for
all individuals seeking information on our events and violence
prevention.  www.friendsagainstviolence.com is the new home for
FAV, an organization created to help non-profit organizations by
various fundraisers and awareness programs.

The new website will feature exciting and up-to-date information on
events, promotions, and violence prevention awareness.  The
“events” section will feature dates, locations, and other vital
information about up-coming events supporting violence prevention
organizations.  It will also offer online registration for people
interested in an event, both as volunteers and guests.

Also, Friends Against Violence plans to operate an online database
for individuals dedicated to helping non-profit organizations.  The
site’s “Friends” section is designed for anyone who wants to post
an online profile or read someone else’s.   Since FAV depends on
word of mouth, it will allow individuals to contact a fellow “friend”
and collaborate on fundraising and awareness projects.

“I am extremely excited about the possibility of as many
people working on efforts to reduce violence in the world,”
said Executive Director of FAV Kyle Provost.  “I think the
world of philanthropy needed an outlet for people who
wanted to meet others who share their interests.”
