Friends Against Violence

Established in 2006 as a group activity to raise money for Battered
Womens Resources Inc. Friends Against Violence came together to
create Turkey Party. The idea was originated by FAV founder, Kyle
Provost. Provost, and his friends, raised six hundred dollars by raffling
off several prizes from local businesses. It was a small event with
nearly 50 people attending. However, the lasting effect from that event
has carried FAV into a stronger and more important organization.

Since Turkey Party in 2006, Friends Against Violence has spread out
over Massachusetts and New Hampshire
