Friends Against Violence is back on the field as the 9th Annual
Dirty Water Flag Football Tournament hits Stoneham, MA on
Saturday, November 1
9th at 9 AM. The event will take place in
Stoneham at the same location as last year. The field name and
address is:

RECREATION PARK
4 DALE COURT
STONEHAM, MA 02180

This year's event will feature a similar level of competition as each
team, made up of five or more players, will compete for the glory
and recognition of the championship! Please note that the entrance
fee to play is an individual fee of $20 per player. The fee will cover
refreshments including water, as well as equipment, and field use.

However, most of the money will benefit Rosie's Place located in
Boston, MA. The money raised last year went to Rosies to support
victims of domestic violence. These individuals include young
children, and their mothers who are in need of food, shelter, and
support during difficult times.

Friends Against Violence is a group of individuals who give back to
victims of violence and abuse. Our volunteers come from all over
and have networked with relatives, co workers, and most of all
friends in an effort to come together and fight a great cause
together.

The goal is to expand awareness and volunteers in order for the
message of violence prevention to spread as far as possible. We
welcome anyone who is interested in giving back and making a
difference in someone's life.
