is our seventh straight year hosting the Dirty Water Flag
Football Tournament and this year is sure to be the
most exciting ever.

year will remain at $20 per player.  Please feel free to
sign up as many players on your team as you like.  The
minimum to register a team is five players.  If you want
to be paired up with your friends,  but do not have
enough to form a team please know that we will do

Join us for our 5th annual Turkey Party, a
Thanksgiving-style potluck dinner and raffle sponsored
by Friends Against Violence. This year all proceeds will
go toward Rosie's Place of Boston (www.rosies.org), a
shelter that provides a safe and nurturing environment
for poor and homeless women, including those affected
by domestic violence

Friends Against Violence
Who Are We?

Friends Against Violence is a group of individuals who give back to
victims of violence and abuse.  Our volunteers come from all over and
have networked with relatives, co workers, and most of all friends in an
effort to come together and fight a great cause together.  

The goal is to expand awareness and volunteers in order for the
message of violence prevention to spread as far as possible.  We
welcome anyone who is interested in giving back and making a
difference in someone's life.
How Do We Give Back?
Friends Against Violence gives back in a unique and fun way.  We do
not cold call, or do mass mailings to raise the money and awareness.  
Instead, as a group we plan out and execute various charitable events
that are fun and educational.  The idea is to enjoy giving back and
understand the meaning behind volunteering.

Bowling Tournament!  This candlepin bowling
tournament is just $20 per person and all proceeds will
benefit Friends Against Violence.  All registered teams
will be guaranteed at least three strings of bowling.  

This event will be for bowlers of all experience.

The Great Boston Scavengah Hunt

Explore the city on an Amazing Race-style scavenger
hunt, all for a good cause!  Proceeds will benefit The
Second Step organization in Newton, Ma that assists
women who have been affected by domestic
violence.  

The event will begin and end at Sissy K's where we
have the entire upstairs for the event.  Please don't
forget to bring your camera and camera cable to load
the photos for scoring at the end.
